About The Village

Our Story

In 2015, The Village started as an informal mommy group after our Founder’s, (Rebecca Corvin Ashby aka Lady Bec) son was born.

Feeling alone and unsupported in her motherhood journey, she started to connect with other moms who had young children, too.

Soon into their regular meetings, Bec realized that the mothers attending these meetings didn’t need a playdate for their children, they needed uninterrupted time to be themselves, to vent, to be seen and heard.

That’s when she had the idea to start having meetings with mothers only - no children.

In those meetings,
magical things started to happen…

  • Women started feeling more confident

  • They were leaving unsafe relationships

  • Starting new businesses

  • Speaking up for themselves at work and in their relationships in their lives

  • Coming off of medications their doctors couldn’t get them off of

  • Conceiving when their conception journeys had taken years

  • Exploring new versions and parts of themselves

  • Healing anxiety and depression

  • Casting visions that they would have never otherwise felt capable of

  • And on, and on…

Word began to spread and other women started to ask to attend these healing circles.

To date, our youngest attendee was 15 years old… our oldest.. 92.

From these meetings, Bec’s retreats were born, as well as her 1:1 coaching offering to further support women more deeply outside of what we now call our Signature Village Meetings.

And then, in August 2025, The Village of Virtue & Victory officially became a 501(c)(3) non-profit.

And just like Bec has been saying for the past decade…

This is just the beginning.

We are happy you’re here.
